A walking tour of California

I had to visit my brother staying in California last month. It was a weekend. We decided to tour around the places of interest inCalifornia.
We left Sanfrancisco/San jose metropolitan area and headed south we entered California's beautiful central coast area. After passing through the lettuce and vegetables we reached the towns of Monterey and Carmel and California and what next? We headed towards the Sur territory known for its stunning rugged coastline.
Monterey Bay Aqarium, a place of major place of tourist interest, not to be missed by any visitor as it is a huge aqarium exhibiting all kinds of marine life.
Monterey Cannery Row shops and restaurants caters to people of all ages. There is something of interest from toddlers to senior members of the family and is a place worth spending a longer time. One can shop here anything under the world starting from merchandise to jewellery. The restaurants serve to the tastes of different categories of people. At the family fun centre we viewed the replica of old things. Truly an unforgetable experience.
The Scenic Carmel an enchanting town we stepped into the spanish era mission where Clint East Wood used to be the mayor.
The incomparable Big Sur with its waves hitting the rocky shore lines was a teast to our eyes This sea coast of California is one of the most beautiful beaches of the world.
On our way to Los Angeles we visited the beautiful city of Santa Barbara
The Bodega Bay the filming site for Hitchcock's "The Birds" is a place worth to be visited.
When we left California the memories were alive and here I have just attempted to share a few of them. Add to Mixx!
