Women who use depot medroxprogesterone acetate (DMPA) commonly known as birth control shots are at a great risk of becoming obese. According to the medical research dept of the university of Texas women using DMPA are found to increase their weight by 11 pounds and body fat by 3.4% over a period of 3 years.
Becoming obese and increasing the fat content in the body is the initial invitation to sll diseases. So let us refrain from using such harmful drugs and protect ourselves from becoming unhealthy.
